Good but very thin!
If you need a dual-use shopping car/restaurant highchair cover, then this is what you should get. I've used it on normal size shopping carts, the bigger ones at costco and at restaurants and it fits fine for all of them. The fabric looks like it does in the picture but it is really really thin. If you are needing something very portable (i.e. stuff it into a purse, etc) then this will work well but there is definitely no padding and if your little one is still learning how to sit up and is a bit wobbly, then this offers zero protection from bumps! I also have had a problem with the strap that is included. My son is 8 months old now, and in the 50th %, so I would say an average size baby. However, the strap, even at it's tightest is way to big for him and doesn't do anything for keeping him seated in the cart. I normally just have to string the buckles/straps that are on the grocery store shopping carts through the holes in the shopping cart cover since the ones included don't...

Fine for the price
When I purchased this, I was looking for a cart cover that would cover the big costco/sams club carts. It does cover those carts, but I didn't know that it was basically a plastic cover with no padding. It works fine since my "baby" is 2 years old and does not need the cushioning. If you are looking for a cart cover for an infant, I definitely would NOT recommend this. I received this in the fall so I have not tried it in the summer with scorching hot carts sitting in the parking lot. I imagine though that it would not protect baby from the heat since in the summertime, kids tend to wear shorts. The material will definitely have heat coming through. It almost feels like a slightly thicker shower curtain. The good thing about it is that it is easy to clean. The carry case is fine. It does it's job. The other thing that slightly bugs me about this is that you need to be careful about covering the sides of the shopping cart. If you don't stretch out the sides, it will just...
Just ok
This cart cover is nice because it cleans up easily and smooshes down pretty small for storage. It doesn't fit the extra large carts like at Costco or even Target very well. We ended up buying a different brand also that is softer and larger. This one doesn't have any padding.
