I purchased a bedding set from this company in early December. It arrived in a very dirty condition (not used, but "industial dirt" imprinted from pressing. I decided to see if it would wash out before returning, and it did. After washing and losing its commercial pressing, it was evident that the quality was not very good and it would not hold up. I wrote an Amazon review saying so. I immediately got a phone call from Soho Bedding Customer Service and was told that the company wanted to make things right, they were a start-up and as such fixing problems, and would send me a $39 value blanket if I took my review down. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and took the review down. I was told the blanket would arrive by Christmas. It had not arrived by Mid-January, so I called once and left a message, followed up by two emails to the address left on the phone messege. Great bedding for the money!!
This set is such a good value for the money. I was a little hesitant because of the price, but was very happy with what I received. The fitted sheet and comforter are very soft and the eleastic holds well. The other pieces just help the nursery look more finished. The bib is a joke though. I painted my sons room a milk chocolate brown and the room really came together for a very affordable price. Don't spend a fortune on bedding that just gets pee and pooed on anyway!
Nice, but problems with the bumper.
Overall I'm happy with this set - the colors are exactly as shown in the picture and the material is really nice. I think the color tones and the bears are perfectly balanced between cute(my baby actually tried to grab one of the bears) and soothing (the colors/patterns are not "loud" or overstimulating).
However, I'd be much happier if I could get this set with fewer elements but for a lower price. I could easily do just with the basic set (bumper, sheet, comforter, skirt) and I agree with one other reviewer who wrote that the bib is a pure joke.
Also, to my great and rather unpleasant surprise, the bumper doesn't quite make it around the crib! I washed it before I put it in the crib (which is a standard size Graco crib) and I was shocked to see that the edges of the bumper don't quite meet!!! Even if the dryer caused some shrinking, I don't think this should be allowed to happen.
