Love love love Avent's breast pumps! I started with the manual one, just in case I didn't have any milk I didn't want a huge investment. My milk was starting to slack off when I got this one and it made it double. Its sooo much easier and more comfortable. The rubber insert makes it a lot gentler. I love the fact that you can set your own pace. It also comes with a battery pack so you can take it along with you.
Only thing I wish they would have would be a car plug in and I wish you could hook up other bottles to it. The mouth is too wide for other bottles.
Also the manual pump I have hooks right up to the electric top so now I have 2 pumps. At least I don't have to wash it every 2 hours. The electric one comes with the parts to make it a manual as well. Unless you want to develop carpal tunnel, get an electric pump.

Good overall quality
As far as electric breast pumps go, this was great, especially since we got it at the introductory price of less than $100. I wasn't a fan of the soft petal insert, though: it had a habit of trapping my milk and making a mess, but I suppose that was my fault for not making sure to vacuum-seal it properly (pace: I'd used other breast pumps before so hadn't read the manual thoroughly to know to do it.) That said, the pump works perfectly even without the insert, and I find it to be infinitely more comfortable that way. I do appreciate that it comes with a stand, and that the cord is nice and lengthy. It's also really easy to clean.
Amazing!
I am writing from my husband's account, but want to share how amazing this product is! I love it and can't live without it. Pumping saved me really, since after those first 3 days of having my baby my breasts were killing me and I almost gave up breastfeeding! But I decided to give pumping a shot, and it hurt a bit at first since my breasts were so swollen and sensitive- but after a few tries I got so used to this pump and even decided to buy a second one to maximize my pumping time!
So I highly recommend, if you can afford purchasing it, to buy the Avent Dual electric pump, since it costs less than buying two Single electric pumps...and unfortunately I didn't know how much I would like pumping and had to buy two singles, one first and later the second. It is amazing to be able to give my baby breast milk without going through the pain of breastfeeding every 2-3 hours (my baby is a barracuda!). So I alternate between pumping and breastfeeding, and also helps with pumping...
