great for moisturizing, but smells bad
in my opinion, this stuff smells like my dog after a bath...it has a funky odor...like a porta-johnny air freshener! There is no questioning it on the abilities to moisturize, but i limit it to my feet because i cant stand the smell.

I used to trust Burts Bees
I used to enjoy Burts Bees products because I thought had they used a fair amount of natural ingredients instead of chemicals that are known to be harmful.
So I tried this lotion out and quite frankly, this is not a good product.
The amount of fragrance in this lotion is overpowering...not to mention the chemicals used to create the fragrance are downright bad for you. If you look this product up on the cosmetic database, you'll see that there are definitely far better and safer products that you can choose for your baby.
Change of formula :(
I love Burts Bees products. But they have changed the formula of all of their lotions. It use to be silky to put on, and I LOVED it. I feel like I keep using it now for smell, not results. Doesnt moisturize the way it use to. But I do feel it is natural and they dont put bad chemicals in it, so I feel safe using it on my children

Beware of nut, soy, wheat & milk allergens - not hypoallergenic!
I just found an allergy alert for Burt's Bees products. It's shocking to see the number of potentially severe allergens in products they advertise as hypoallergenic. It is possible for these allergens to be absorbed topically and cause severe allergies in some.

"Baby Bee Lotion, Fragrance Free" contains soy and tree nut allergens. The ingredients are as follows: ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, cera alba (beeswax, cire d'abeille), hydrogenated castor oil, parfum (fragrance*), butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, calophyllum inophyllum seed oil, glycine soja (soybean) oil, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) butter, tocopherol, citral, citronellol, coumarin, farnesol, geraniol, limonene, linalool. * natural fragrance

just like the original, minus scent
Conditions skin just as greatly as the original product. At this price, I weighed the value of Burt's scrumptious smell and went with the unscented. Highly recommended. One post-bath application and the job is done.

Burt's Bees Fragrance Free, the 99.3 % natural
This is not a bad baby wash, but I have to say it's different than the Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash 96% natural.

They both are OK, but they are different products!

The 99% natural is a milky liquid, and it feels like it has a conditioner in it - it's better for the hair, but it doesn't lather a lot, and I ended up using much more of it to wash my son. It's fragrance free, but there is still some scent to it - probably the oils.

The 96% natural is a clear yellow liquid, it has a strong fragrance (like many Burt's Bees products, unfortunately), and it lathers much more. The 96% lasted for over six months of every day washes, when this one is almost gone after a month... I would say that the 99% natural is a better shampoo, when the 96% natural is a better body wash. And the 99% natural is probably better for very young children.

Safe for baby
According to the Environmental Working Group's [...] work on toxins in consumer products, Burts Bees Baby Bee Fragrance-Free Shampoo rates a 2 out of 10. Lower numbers represent a lower health risk...Aside from the lower risk factors, it smells really nice. I know it is listed as fragrance-free, but the natural oils used in the product do have a natural scent (rosewood, sweet almond, coriander fruit oil). I think Burts Bees means "no added or artificial" fragrance when it states fragrance-free. My girls love it...it lathers nicely and rinses away quickly which is a plus when rinsing hair.
Great Product Even Better Price
I am a total label reader when it comes to the products used on my family's skin and hair. I love the fact that this shampoo and body wash contains no sulfates which can be very drying for the skin. This wash is very creamy and a little goes a long way. The smell is delicious :)! Paired with the Burt's Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion and my baby's skin is clean, soft, mosturized, and has a nice fresh smell! Amazon's price is excellent! It's like a buy two get one free sale when compared to prices at other stores. Add in no tax and free shipping and we have a winner!

NOTHING BETTER THAN THIS FOR ECZEMA!!!!!
I didn't purchase this product from Amazon, but had to come and write a review anyway.

Long story short, my infant son has been dealing with severe eczema since he was a few months old. We have taken numerous trips to the pediatrician's office to try and find a solution. His arms were covered in dry bumps and the backs of his legs were bright red, weeping and even bleeding in some spots from the intense dryness and inflammation. It was absolutely horrible. We have tried at least a dozen different creams, lotions and ointments over the past 8 months and nothing has made a significant improvement. We have even tried prescription antibiotic cream, steroid cream and 2% hydrocortisone ointment. We were applying products to his skin with EVERY diaper change and coating him before bedtime. It was tiring for both of us, to say the least. The hardest part was that we were seeing little improvement.

Finally, in desperation, I bought a bottle of Burt's Bees Nourishing Baby...

Very helpful oil
This oil has been very helpful in keeping my babies skin moisturized since she was born. It's all natural, absorbs quickly and smells wonderful as well.
Very satisfied
I got this as a gift when I first had my baby to "help remove sticky poo". I didn't use it until she got older (around 6 months) since it is apricot oil; I assumed there were ingredients in it that could cause allergic reactions. Although I don't have a history of allergies, after applying it, I watched her carefully to make sure she didn't have any reactions. It does an excellent job of removing "sticky poo", and now that she is older, it is immensely helpful in making sure I get her cheeks clean. I love the smell of it, as well, and it keeps her moisturized without causing rashes. However, I give it four stars instead of five because I do think it is overpriced, and I am thinking any kind of oil will help remove "sticky poo" (I haven't tried it!), but I like the scent and the small bottle. If you use it in a brisk manner (hurriedly putting it onto a wipe), some oil will get on the bottle, but I haven't yet found a bottle of oil that doesn't do that. I was out of it for a...
